The conflicts involving natural resources often result in substantial disturbance to the environment. To prevent the exploitation of our environment, on November 6, we celebrate the International Day for Preventing the Exploitation of the Environment in War and Armed Conflict.

History –

The United Nations Environment Programme founded this day to raise awareness for preventing the exploitation of the environment in times of armed conflict. On November 6, 2001, the UN General Assembly proclaimed the International Day for Preventing the Exploitation of the Environment in War and Armed Conflict. In conclusion, this day is to honour the environment and raise awareness for adhering measures to protect it. Implementing sustainable goal development, the UN focuses to protect the environment and sustain livelihoods.

History –

In the year 1943, Nachos was created. Nachos are tortilla chips covered with cheese and spices of Mexican-origin. The National Nachos Day is observed on November 6 every year. Ignacio “Nacho” Anaya created the original nachos, who was the head manager at the El Moderno Restaurant in Piedras Negras. The dish served with cheddar cheese was much appreciated and loved by Army wives present in the restaurant. The dish is an all-time favourite snack gaining publicity in a very short time. Today, people all over the world know about this delicious dish.

How to Celebrate?

Goes without saying that eating Nachos would be the best way to celebrate this day. Explore your creativity by inventing new dishes with Nachos.
